At Saeta Yield (a Masdar group company), we are looking to add a person to our team for the position of ESG Technician. Your main mission will be to support the ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) team in ensuring the company's alignment with legal requirements related to the company's activities, as well as with global and local group policies, in order to avoid and mitigate risks arising from potential non-compliance and to always strive to go beyond regulatory requirements. Your main responsibilities will be: * Define and implement, together with company management, the ESG strategy and the ESG action plan, including compliance with applicable regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – CSRD * Supervise that the company's work teams fulfill their commitments and projects within the ESG action plan * Coordinate the ESG program (sole shareholder of the company) * Identify ESG-related opportunities and risks * Advise other departments of the company on ESG matters * Provide support on ESG matters to various cross-functional teams involved with the department * Promote an ESG culture for corporate decision-making * Collaborate on the core tasks of the ESG department: data collection, preparation of ESG reports and reporting, including the definition and calculation of KPIs * Support the execution of actions or other activities assigned by the company related to your expertise * Respond to various stakeholders on ESG matters (e.g., lender requirements under existing financing terms) To successfully perform this role, we require that you: Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Sustainability, Environment, CSR, Management Systems or similar, have intermediate-to-advanced level English proficiency, advanced Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and at least 2 years of ESG experience.
