Job Summary: We are seeking a Metrology Technician – Equipment Manager with experience in calibration, verification, and technical management of industrial inspection equipment for comprehensive management of the NDT equipment fleet. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of industrial inspection equipment. 2. Technical coordination and support to delegations. 3. Documentary control and regulatory compliance of equipment. At Apave Inspection Spain, we are looking to hire a Metrology Technician – Equipment Manager with experience in calibration, verification, and technical management of industrial inspection equipment. Your Mission You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the NDT equipment fleet, ensuring proper technical, documentary, and operational control thereof. Your role will be critical in guaranteeing equipment availability, reliability, and regulatory compliance for industrial inspection activities. What will you do with us? 1\. Comprehensive Equipment Management * Manage all equipment across the entire line: assignments, availability, traceability, and status control. * Coordinate calibrations, verifications, and expiry tracking. * Supervise equipment maintenance, incidents, and commissioning. * Manage acquisition of new equipment and its operational integration. 2\. Technical Coordination and Support * Serve as the direct point of contact for Delegations and technical staff. * Provide support in resolving technical incidents related to equipment. * Assist in standardizing technical criteria and best practices for equipment usage. 3\. Documentary Control and Compliance * Ensure documentary control associated with calibrations and verifications. * Participate in audits related to equipment management. * Guarantee correct traceability and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Relevant Experience Areas Experience in calibration and/or verification within one or more of the following measurement domains: * Dimensional * Temperature * Optical * Ultrasonic * Magnetic fields * Densitometer calibration Candidate Profile * **Education:** Higher Vocational Training (FP-II / CFGS) or technical degrees (Technical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering). * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in calibration and/or verification environments. * **ADN:** Organized, methodical profile oriented toward solving technical problems. * **Knowledge:** Experience in managing and controlling industrial technical equipment. * **Desirable:** Experience in industrial inspection or NDT environments.
