We operate across more than 150 centers and services covering mental health, neurorehabilitation, elderly care, dependency, social emergencies, homelessness, child protection, and social education. Currently, we are seeking a Social Services Assistant to join our SAMUR SOCIAL center located in Madrid. WHAT WILL YOU DO DAILY? * Attend in-person requests. * Provide technical support to Social Workers and Psychologists as required. * Collaborate in user assessment, following instructions from the Social Worker and/or Psychologist. * Collaborate with the rest of the team in scene assessment to identify potential risks for users or responding personnel; ensure user safety and privacy, and coordinate joint interventions with other responding agencies. * Carry out supportive assistance tasks for users served by the unit who require help performing basic daily activities. * Logistical support tasks: evictions, forced removals, protocols for homeless persons, protocols related to Social Services for Social Care and Madrid Salud, etc. * Preparation and operation of reception services: Central Unit, Short-Stay Units for Families, and CEMUS. * Completion of all records/documents requested by the Service Management related to your intervention. * Responsibility for maintaining mobile units in alert status, collaborating with other staff in continuous monitoring of communications. * Drive the assigned vehicle. To do so, you must hold the required driving license for operating vehicles assigned to fulfill the contractual objectives. * Responsibility for mechanical inspection of the vehicle prior to service commencement, reporting any deficiencies detected during your shift, and refueling the vehicle. * Responsibility for inspecting, maintaining, and cleaning the mobile unit, as well as replenishing supplies during and at the end of your shift, ensuring the unit remains fully operational. * Treat users and all involved parties with exceptional courtesy, correctness, and professionalism. * Perform support duties in the Central Communications Room and monitoring when required. * Provide social accompaniment and support to individuals affected by emergencies in locations where needed, under the guidance of the Social Worker and/or Psychologist or respective supervisor. * Support users with mobility difficulties to promote personal autonomy in daily activities. * Respond to falls among elderly persons occurring at home who are not enrolled in telecare services. Following assessment of consequences, contact the healthcare network in relevant cases to report the extent of the fall and determine whether medical resources should be mobilized. Staff must successfully complete the mandatory training period established by the contracting entity, including at least theoretical\-practical training in first aid and home-based fall mobilization. * Transport, register, and deposit belongings of affected individuals. * Transport, distribute, and organize emergency materials for affected individuals and for proper service delivery. * Set up, dismantle, and maintain emergency tents (Advanced Social Post) and other emergency accessories. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Minimum qualification: High School Diploma, Geriatric Care Assistant, or equivalent. * Desirable: Intermediate Vocational Training in social or healthcare fields. * Minimum experience: 6 months in social emergency intervention and/or working with groups at risk of exclusion. * Valid driving license with at least one year of driving experience.
