Job Summary: We are seeking a Control & Communication Engineer to drive the energy transition, participating in the planning, coordination, and execution of Grid Code testing, integration of industrial communication protocols, and development of SCADA platforms. Works with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks in renewable energy. **Do you want to drive the energy transition from within?** As part of our organizational growth and strengthening, we are looking to incorporate a **Control \& Communication Engineer** into our team. **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**: * Planning, coordination, and execution of Grid Code tests. * Integration of industrial communication protocols: + Modbus, MQTT + IEC 60870\-5\-101/104 + IEC 61850, DNP3 * Development and configuration of SCADA platforms (Ignition, WinCC or similar). * Configuration of industrial networks and communications: + Industrial switches + Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet) + Communication infrastructure * Programming and integration of PLCs and RTUs (SEL, GE, iGRID or others). * Real-time data acquisition management. * Operational data analysis and report generation. * Configuration of meteorological and sensor systems. * Fault diagnosis and continuous improvement of operational systems. * Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders. **Position Requirements**: * Degree in Automation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering projects (preferably in energy or industrial sectors). * Experience in renewable energy projects (highly valued). * Technical knowledge: + SCADA (Ignition, WinCC or equivalent). + Industrial protocols (IEC, Modbus, etc.). + Industrial networks and basic cybersecurity. + PLCs and RTUs. + Data analysis We are a Spanish multinational clean energy producer.
