Contract / FIDIC Engineer \- Data Centers About the Role We are seeking a skilled FIDIC Engineer to serve as the contract administrator and technical authority on projects governed by FIDIC contract forms, ensuring fair and impartial implementation of contract provisions while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget objectives. Key Responsibilities Administer FIDIC contracts (Red, Yellow, Silver books) as Engineer/Employer's Representative, making determinations in accordance with contract terms and issuing instructions to contractors Evaluate contractors' claims, variations, and extension of time requests while maintaining detailed documentation of all decisions and project developments Chair and facilitate project meetings, prepare progress reports, and maintain communication between employers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Review technical submittals, monitor construction quality, conduct inspections, and approve work certification in accordance with contract specifications and industry standards Manage dispute resolution processes, assist with adjudication procedures, and provide expert advice on contractual matters to prevent and resolve conflicts Issue payment certificates, evaluate financial implications of variations, and maintain proper contract administration records for audit and reference purposes Qualifications \& Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field with several years of experience in contract administration using FIDIC contract forms on major infrastructure projects Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contract procedures, documents, and implementation practices with demonstrated experience interpreting contractual clauses and resolving disputes Strong technical engineering background with ability to review designs, evaluate construction methodologies, and understand complex engineering specifications and drawings Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with ability to act impartially while balancing project and contractual requirements Proven analytical abilities, systematic approach to documentation, and experience with contract administration software and project management tools Professional Engineering license, FIDIC accreditation, and/or membership in relevant professional bodies preferred; detail\-oriented with international project experience Experience in Data Centers preferred If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements below.
