Position Summary:
Westinghouse is seeking a Technician in the Supports and Snubbers Area to perform testing, maintenance, and equipment preparation activities within the snubbers department.

Vacancy: Westinghouse Supports and Snubbers Technician.
The candidate will perform their work in Westinghouse's S&A Area:
Traditionally, we provide support to Spanish NPPs in the field of testing snubbers, supports, and springs in both conventional and radiological areas.
Candidates holding a Vocational Training qualification are sought for integration into the Testing Organization.
The selected candidate will be qualified as a Supports and Snubbers Technician to carry out their activities in the snubbers department, part of Testing Services within the Reactor Services organization.
Main responsibilities of the position include:
* Execution of testing activities:
* Functional testing of springs
* Functional testing of snubbers
* Visual inspection of springs and snubbers
* Maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical snubbers
* Preparation and commissioning of test equipment and systems
* Calibration and maintenance of instruments
* Preparation of procedures, reports, and quality dossiers for these activities
Requirements to apply for this vacancy:
* Vocational Training qualification in mechanical/electrical/electronic or maintenance disciplines.
* English language proficiency at B1 level.
* Office software skills.
* Availability for national and international travel.
* Proactivity, flexibility, and autonomy.
* Ability to work in teams and meet deadlines.
* Professional exposure to ionizing radiation.
* Knowledge of NPP systems and certification in NDEs will be considered an advantage.
* Knowledge of instrumentation, and equipment design/fabrication/maintenance will be considered an advantage.
* Knowledge of interpreting mechanical, electrical, and isometric drawings will be considered an advantage.
* Prior experience working in nuclear and industrial plants will be considered an advantage.
