**About the Role**
We are seeking a Publishing Intern majoring in Philology, Communication, Design, Education, Editing, or related fields, with a high level of English proficiency, to support the Editorial Team in developing teaching materials for Vocational Training programs and Bilingual Publishing.
**This internship opportunity will take place between September and December 2026 at our Madrid office, under a hybrid working model.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Editorial Production and Content Review \- attention to detail and ability to think innovatively**
* Support incorporation of corrections into reprints.
* Participate in checking printer's proofs.
* Review audio and video\-animation recordings.
* Collaborate on creating briefs, style guides, and glossaries.
* Research educational trends and curriculum updates.
* Source reference materials and conduct competitor analysis.
**Graphic Design and Production \- creativity and proactivity**
* Modify and correct images in Photoshop.
* Support image sourcing.
* Prepare illustration briefs for classroom components.
**Digital Production \- attention to detail and digital skills**
* Generate PDFs from Word documents.
* Format and finalize PDFs for digital platform delivery: activities, assessments, Genially.
* Support creation of digital resources.
**Organization and Operational Support \- administrative skills**
* Organize and upload files to shared drives.
* Create and update spreadsheets or databases.
* Support uploading files to the digital platform.
**Experience, Skills \& Qualifications:**
*Essential*
* Demonstrated interest in education and publishing
* English proficiency at B2\+ level (spoken and written).
* Ability to review, classify, and organize files, audio, and images.
* Attention to detail in creating digital resources and arranging graphic elements on the page.
* Writing skills, strong reading comprehension, and linguistic sensitivity for text editing.
* Interest in learning about editorial processes and tools, both print and digital.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of editorial design, layout, and art applied to educational books.
* Familiarity with editing and design tools such as: Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, InCopy, Canva, Genially, and basic video editing tools.
