Due to strong growth in our Buildings | WSP division, we are looking to strengthen our Clean Tech and Manufacturing team in Madrid or at any of our main offices (Valladolid, Santander, Valencia) with Lead Engineer profiles specializing in HVAC, Fire Safety, and Electrical disciplines. You will participate in the design of industrial building projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, lithium battery production plants, and/or data centers. You will lead design teams and act as the main technical contact with clients during both design and construction phases. **What will you do with us?** Your main responsibilities will include (depending on specialization): * Project management for pharmaceutical facilities, battery plants, data centers, semiconductor plants, laboratories, and similar. * Client communication management. * Preparation and monitoring of work schedules. * Definition and design of industrial processes and layouts for the mentioned industries. * Supervision of project team members’ execution tasks, optimization of time, tasks, and costs, coordination among project team members, clients, and other stakeholders. * Project cost control and client invoicing. Monitoring payments and collections. * Performing calculations when necessary and preparing project reports. * Preparing proposals, managing their development, executing projects, monitoring progress, and closing them out. * Acting as a "Subject Matter Expert" (SME) regarding clean room-specific topics and service installations for such rooms, as well as advising clients and project teams on industrial process definition and design in the relevant areas. * Supervising, as "Quality Manager," calculations and designs related to clean rooms, including technical reports, drawings, specifications, measurements, budgets, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards on key projects. * Providing technical support during the construction phase. **What are we looking for?** We are seeking professionals with a degree in Industrial Engineering or Technical Industrial Engineering, preferably with Mechanical or Electrical specializations. Additionally, candidates must have at least 10 years of experience designing fire protection systems for industrial buildings, with particular emphasis on sectors such as pharmaceuticals, lithium battery manufacturing or component production, laboratories, and/or data centers. Experience in performing sizing calculations, producing drawings, writing technical reports and specifications, and estimating costs is essential. We are looking for someone with proven project management and/or construction supervision experience in the mentioned fields, capable of working efficiently in dynamic and flexible environments, both independently and in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Occasional travel availability within Spain and abroad is required, along with advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
