The Makita PO5000C orbital polisher can be switched from orbital motion to orbital/rotational operation. Orbital motion ensures fine grinding without grooves, and rotational motion is for polishing or coarse polishing jobs. The PO5000C has been specially developed for automotive polishing. Rubber inserts on all exposed housing parts protect painted surfaces from damage. The auxiliary handle allows ergonomic work in both modes, and vibration damping ensures smooth operation. The very flat design is extremely useful, and the enhanced anti-twist protection on the power cord ensures high flexibility and durability.
