Job Summary: We are seeking a Retail Operation Leader to lead sales operations and digital marketing for Guernica Investments’ expansion into Asia, focusing on the La Chinata brand. Guernica Investments S.L is a young Spanish company (founded in 2022) dedicated to investment management in the European retail sector, with a focus—among other activities—on acquiring and managing franchises offered by medium- and large-sized enterprises. In three years, Guernica has multiplied its assets dozens of times, growing from selling thousands to several hundred thousand euros. We do not believe in the lamentable phrase “we’re sad but calm because we tried everything”; instead, we believe in “we are successful because we did everything.” As part of Guernica’s expansion process into the Asian market (especially China and South Korea), we seek a new team member: Retail Operation Leader. **Objective** Lead Guernica Investments’ sales operations area for its La Chinata franchise. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop, together with Guernica’s CEO and COO, the company’s retail strategy for the Chinese and Korean markets under the La Chinata brand. * Lead customer service at the physical La Chinata franchise store. * Support the CEO in new market entry activities. * Develop and manage Guernica’s digital marketing strategy for the Chinese and Korean markets. * Propose strategies to meet the franchise’s sales targets. * Ensure physical store quality standards, based on protocols developed by the COO. * Manage inventory for the company’s physical store. **Required Education** * Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one. * Spanish B2 or higher; English B2 or higher. (Korean TOPIK Level 5 or higher optional / Chinese HSK Level 5–6 optional) * Professional proficiency in office software (Office 365) **Requested Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales and digital marketing on platforms such as Naver and Xiaohongshu. * Experience in startups. * Experience in customer service. **Competencies** We seek a person who: * Takes nothing for granted. * Honors commitments. * Holds themselves and other team members to high standards. * Lives by the mantra “the job isn’t done until it’s done.” * Has team ambition. * Hates bureaucracy and inefficient processes. * Loves results—not the process. **Employment Conditions** * Indefinite-term employment contract, full-time (40 hours per week) (depending on the candidate, we are open to alternative arrangements such as part-time). * All benefits mandated by Spanish legislation (collective agreement for the Madrid food industry sector). * Working hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m.; one-hour lunch break; Sunday, 1 p.m.–6 p.m. The remaining three weekly hours will be agreed upon with the selected candidate. **Salary** * €1,460.25 per month. * Sales incentive plan starting from the sixth month of employment. * Send CV to: sergio.gomez@gernikasl.com Job Type: Full-time Salary: €1,460.00 per month Work Location: On-site
