Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who understands rhythm, digital narratives, and trends to create social media content while researching innovative storytelling methods. Key Responsibilities: 1. Creating content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts). 2. Researching and proposing new storytelling formats and trends. 3. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. At We Are Social Madrid, we’re seeking a **Junior Video Editor** fluent in the language of social media. We’re not just looking for someone who knows where to make the cut in Premiere—we want someone who understands rhythm, digital narratives, memes, trending audio, and what makes a user stop scrolling and watch a video instead. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * **Editing and Assembly:** Creating content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts). * **Format Adaptation:** Mastery of the art of "resizing"—ensuring content retains its meaning and visual quality across different formats. * **Proposing New Formats:** We don’t just want you to execute—we want you to proactively research and propose fresh storytelling approaches, emerging trends, and editing styles that surprise our clients. * **Basic Graphic Design:** Adding titles, animated subtitles, and minor motion graphics to elevate content quality. **Requirements** **Who are we looking for?** * Minimum prior experience as a trainee. * Strong command of the Adobe suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects. * Active consumption of social media and deep understanding of their codes, language, and narratives. * Highly organized—across projects, folders, raw footage, etc. * Team-oriented yet comfortable working independently from time to time. * Advanced English proficiency.
