This Belle Époque palace, located in the renowned Art Triangle, blends over a century of history with contemporary elegance, delivering refined service, an exceptional gastronomic offering, and meticulously curated experiences for both leisure and business guests. **About the Role** Based at **Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid**, within the **Kitchen Department** in Madrid, the **Chef** supports the preparation, cooking, and presentation of culinary products, ensuring all dishes meet Mandarin Oriental’s standards for quality, presentation, and hygiene. The position reports to the **Station Chef**, and in their absence, to the **First or Second Executive Chef**. **As a Chef, your key responsibilities will include:** * Preparing, seasoning, and plating dishes in accordance with technical specifications and departmental standards. * Supporting various Food and Beverage outlets according to operational needs. * Performing mise en place and assisting with service across different stations. * Ensuring correct handling, storage, and utilization of ingredients. * Maintaining cleanliness and proper condition of work areas, equipment, and utensils. * Complying with Food Hygiene Regulations, HACCP, Safe \& Sound, and FLHSSE standards. * Collaborating respectfully and effectively with all hotel teams. **As a Chef, we expect you to have:** * Minimum two years’ prior experience in professional culinary roles within luxury hospitality environments. * Technical knowledge of culinary preparation and quality standards. * Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate responsibility, and maintain attention to detail. * Capacity to remain calm and efficient under pressure. * Commitment to excellence and to Mandarin Oriental’s core values. **Our Commitment and Benefits** **Learning \& Development.** Your success is our success.
