The **AI, Data and Digitalization** department at Siemens Mobility drives the organization’s digital transformation by developing innovative software-based solutions, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The department works cross-functionally with departments such as R\+D, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, and Operations, promoting process digitalization and development of tools delivering value to the organization. Training objectives During the internship period, the student will have the opportunity to: * Learn software application and digital solution development methodologies. * Develop knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Generative Artificial Intelligence, digital assistants, AI agents, and knowledge management systems. * Apply data analysis and processing techniques for report generation and process automation. * Become familiar with digital solution development, validation, and deployment tools and methodologies. * Participate in proof-of-concept design and technological innovation initiatives. * Understand how to identify digitalization and process improvement opportunities across various areas of a technology organization. * Strengthen competencies in collaborative work, interdisciplinary communication, and problem-solving within innovation environments. Training activities With guidance from their mentor, students will be able to: * Learn to develop software applications, automations, and digital tools. * Participate in training projects related to digital assistants, copilots, AI agents, and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions. * Collaborate in developing data-driven solutions for analysis, visualization, and automation. * Learn methodologies to identify digitalization opportunities together with different organizational departments. * Participate in all phases of the digital solution development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and deployment. * Explore emerging technologies related to Data Science, Software Development, and Artificial Intelligence, participating in innovation initiatives and pilot projects. Mentorship and follow-up The selected candidate will have: * A specialized mentor from the AI, Data and Digitalization department. * A learning plan with defined training objectives established from the start of the internship. * Continuous monitoring of acquired competencies. * Periodic orientation and feedback sessions to support learning and professional development. Candidate profile **Degrees:** * Dual Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. * Pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence will be considered an advantage. **Desirable knowledge:** * Programming knowledge in Python and/or other languages such as Java, C\#, or JavaScript. * Basic knowledge of databases and SQL. * Familiarity with version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab). * Interest in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or similar). * Interest in Generative Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs). **Languages:** * English level B2\. **Transversal competencies:** * Analytical ability. * Initiative and continuous learning. * Teamwork. * Communication. * Organization and continuous improvement orientation.
