**About Teya**
At Teya, we are redefining how small and medium-sized enterprises operate and grow across Europe. We are a digital financial services company that goes beyond payments: we offer technology solutions that simplify businesses’ day-to-day operations and help them grow.
Our ambition is clear: to compete with—and win against—traditional banking by offering a modern, agile, and customer-centric alternative.
You will join a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment where we work passionately to deliver the best solutions and experiences to our customers.
**About the Role**
We are looking for our People Generalist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our growing teams in Spain.
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of a rapidly expanding business, where you will have real ownership over how the employee experience is managed on a day-to-day basis. From onboarding through to ongoing employee support—and everything in between—you’ll help ensure our People processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with managers and employees to bring our People strategy to life, contributing to an environment where people can perform at their best and teams can excel.
**Key Responsibilities**
You will serve as the primary on-the-ground People contact, responsible for ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high-quality employee experience:
* Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding
* Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing clear, agile, and practical HR guidance
* Lead end-to-end onboarding, ensuring new hires are set up for success from day one and continuously improving the experience
* Ensure all employee data and documentation are accurate, up to date, and meet quality and compliance standards
* Provide support on labor relations matters, handling inquiries professionally and escalating more complex cases when necessary
* Collaborate with People Partners to execute key People initiatives and support business priorities
* Work cross-functionally with teams (e.g., Payroll, Finance, Legal) to ensure smooth and efficient operations
* Identify opportunities to improve People processes—making them simpler, faster, and more effective
* Contribute to a positive and engaging employee experience within your market
* Manage the Madrid office end-to-end, creating an environment where people can perform at their best
**What We’re Looking For**
We seek someone who embraces accountability and maintains a high standard of work:
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset—not only identifying problems but also helping solve them
* Strong sense of accountability and commitment, with reliable execution and urgency
* Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering precise, high-quality work
* Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift
* Genuine interest in practically and operationally improving the employee experience
* Ambition and desire to grow within an expanding organization
**Desired Qualifications**
* Fluency in Spanish and English
* Experience working in high-growth, rapidly scaling organizations
* Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HiBob or similar)
* Experience contributing to onboarding or employee experience initiatives and managing HR processes.
