Your work will directly contribute to connecting people worldwide, guaranteeing sustainable, high-performance operations in the aviation industry. **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Analyze engine performance and identify improvement opportunities. * Provide technical support to resolve incidents and optimize maintenance tasks, serving as Air Europa’s *focal point* with the workshop. * Coordinate and define maintenance tasks with internal departments and external workshops. * Reporting to the Powerplant Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring airworthiness, operational readiness, and optimal maintenance of our fleet’s engines and APUs. * Ensure compliance with regulations and standards for every intervention. * Participate in engine and aircraft return or acceptance processes, supporting technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers and lessors. **What will make you successful in this position:** * Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree: enables deep understanding of engine operation and empowers technically sound decision-making from day one. * Valuable airline maintenance experience: having worked in this environment for at least one year will help you adapt quickly and deliver value from the outset. * Technical English proficiency: essential for interpreting documentation, communicating with international teams, and progressing professionally. * Analytical capability and data orientation: using Excel (and Power BI as a plus) will allow you to identify patterns, anticipate issues, and improve performance. * Collaborative and proactive mindset: helps you integrate into the team, contribute ideas, and participate in continuous improvement projects. *DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION:* We are committed to environmental and social sustainability.
