If you’re looking for your next challenge, this is your opportunity: We are seeking a **Power Hardware Design Engineer** with solid experience in the **aerospace and defense sectors**, to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The selected candidate must have in-depth knowledge of power electronics, PCB design using **Xpedition Designer** (Siemens/Mentor Graphics), and be accustomed to working in regulated environments with **formal system development and documentation processes**. **Main Responsibilities** * Design and development of power hardware systems for high-reliability applications in space and defense sectors. * HW design using Xpedition Designer, PADS, or Altium * Component selection, worst-case analysis (WCA), verification of thermal and electrical margins. * Collaboration with systems, software, and mechanical teams to define requirements and interfaces. * Ensure design traceability and compliance with system-level requirements, following **standards such as DO-254, MIL-STD, etc.** * Creation and maintenance of technical documentation: electrical schematics, bill of materials, design justifications, test procedures, analysis reports, etc. * Participation in design reviews, risk analysis, and verification activities. * Support manufacturing, integration, and validation of prototypes and products. * Ensure compliance with internal systems engineering processes, including product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and configuration control. **WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?** At Quest Global, we believe in equal opportunities and are committed to maintaining an inclusive and safe work environment, guaranteeing equal opportunities in recruitment, training, and development in a discrimination-free environment based on ethnicity, age, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other personal, physical, or social condition. Apply today and be the difference you want to see in the world! **Work Experience** If you are a professional ready to make a difference, you are exactly who we are looking for. **Minimum Requirements** * Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design, particularly in power electronics. * Proficiency in Xpedition, Altium, PADS, or equivalent. * Experience in regulated environments under defense/aerospace standards (e.g., MIL-STD-704, DO-254, MIL-STD-461, DO-160). * Knowledge of the complete product development lifecycle in critical sectors. * Familiarity with system-level documentation: specifications, ICDs, block diagrams, FMEAs, etc. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. **Desirable Requirements** * Knowledge of PLM and requirements management tools (DOORS, Teamcenter, Polarion). * Experience with simulation and analysis tools (SPICE, PLECS, HyperLynx). * Knowledge of EMC design, thermal management, and derating criteria. * Experience with certification processes for military or aerospace systems.
