The Spanish facility is designed as the first net‑zero industrial park gigafactory in the country, aligning with AESC’s mission to pioneer sustainable battery manufacturing. **Role Purpose** We're looking for a **Treasury Specialist** to join our finance team in Spain. In this role, you'll help manage the company's cash, banking activities, and payment processes. You'll work closely with colleagues in Finance and Accounting to make sure funds are available when needed and that treasury operations run smoothly. This position is ideal for someone with **5 years of treasury experience** who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and improving processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast\-paced environments. The position will be based in **Madrid**. The person must be open to travel with some frequency to the AESC Spain Plant Site in Navalmoral de la Mata, Extremadura. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage daily cash position and perform bank reconciliations. * Execute domestic and international payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations. * Prepare short\- and medium\-term cash flow forecasts. * Optimize liquidity management and propose process improvements. * Maintain relationships with financial institutions and support negotiations. * Collaborate with accounting and finance teams during month\-end closings and audits. * Participate in the implementation and enhancement of Treasury Management Systems (TMS). Don't you want to be part of this cutting\-edge and revolutionary company? \#LI\-SD1 Qualifications **What We're Looking For** * Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury or Cash Management roles. * Good understanding of banking operations, financial instruments, and payment processes, including SEPA and SWIFT. * Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or Treasury systems. Ideally experience with SAP. * Good English skill is a must. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Nice to Have * Experience working in an international or multinational company. * Knowledge of financial risk management, derivatives, or hedging. * Treasury or corporate finance certifications. * Project and Construction experience.
