




Position Summary: The Maintenance Agent ensures the hotel’s appeal and proper maintenance through operational tasks and excellent guest service, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Contributes to guest satisfaction and hotel standards. ***The Maintenance Agent*** will apply their *hard and soft* skills to deliver optimal guest service through a variety of operational tasks that ensure the hotel’s appeal and proper maintenance. Under the guidance of the *Maintenance Manager*, they will ensure effective interdepartmental communication so that processes align with standards established by Management. The *Maintenance Agent* will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: * Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs; address daily reported issues at the hotel: incidents, complaints, guest requests, and requests from other departments. * Complete mandatory daily logs and those designated by the hotel. * Request and coordinate quotations, bids, and contracts from external vendors. * Install or repair wall coverings. * Paint designated areas and elements. * Install and replace basic electrical fixtures; replace light switches, outlets, light bulbs, and accessories. * Install, replace, and program televisions. * Perform minor plumbing tasks. * Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps, as well as conduct preventive maintenance on units. * Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment. * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete work orders as required; maintain accurate PM records for all rooms and equipment. * Maintain the building exterior and the hotel’s “curb appeal.” * Refurbish, paint, and finish furniture and accessories as needed. * Test, inspect, and maintain hotel security systems to ensure they remain 100% operational at all times. * Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records and coordinate compliance with service contracts. * Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. * Verify proper operation of facilities. * Daily maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools and SPA areas. * Perform carpentry, locksmithing, masonry, painting, and similar repairs. * Provide ad-hoc support to other departments as requested. Comply with Hilton and Hotel Montera Madrid policies, procedures, and code of conduct. * Carry out tasks and assume roles as instructed by the *Facility Manager*, as business needs require. * Be punctual, maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, and always wear an immaculate uniform. * Be proactive and adopt a flexible work approach, consistently addressing team and business needs. * Maintain an attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service to all guests and colleagues. Respond sensitively to others’ needs and feelings regardless of status or position, accept interpersonal differences, and maintain a constructive attitude toward both guests and colleagues. * Attend various trainings and courses established by Management, department, and HR. Required experience for the *Maintenance Agent* position is a minimum of 2 years in the same role within hotels/hospitals.
