Position Summary: We are seeking a GIS Technician with experience in Urban Planning or Architecture for an important project in Madrid, requiring skills in cartography, satellite analysis, and advanced GIS software usage. For urgent hiring, we seek a GIS Technician with experience in Urban Planning or Architecture to participate in an important project to be developed in Madrid. The selected candidate must possess the following knowledge and experience: * Minimum 2 years of experience in cartographic editing and processing and analysis of satellite images. * Preferably experience in urban planning and land-use planning. * Strong expertise in AutoCAD and GIS. * Experience managing geographic information across different projects; formats, projections, etc. * Cartographic analysis and generation. * Advanced proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, preferably ArcGIS PRO. * Familiarity with ArcGIS Online and its components (Applications, Dashboard, Survey123, ArcGIS Hub). * Proficiency in remote sensing tools and processing of satellite imagery (e.g., Landsat, Sentinel, SPOT). * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * High level of English proficiency. Additionally, the following will be highly valued: * Programming knowledge in Python and JavaScript. * Statistical analysis (R, MATLAB, others). * Experience in 3D environments (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS CityEngine, ArcGIS Urban). * Web programming in HTML/CSS/JS environments. Desired Skills and Knowledge: \- Higher education degree in Geomatics, Geography, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines; specialization/master's in Geographic Information Systems. \- Minimum 2 years of experience in cartographic editing and processing and analysis of satellite images. \- Strong expertise in AutoCAD and GIS. \- High level of English proficiency. \- Personal attributes including high adaptability and proactivity.
