At Kyndryl Data Center Services, we design and operate critical infrastructures and data centers to digitally connect the world securely, efficiently, and sustainably, delivering engineering, construction, commissioning, and data center consulting services. We seek engineers with experience in electromechanical infrastructure projects to help consolidate our expansion within this practice. This is an office-based position requiring significant onsite presence due to project execution at our clients’ locations. You will participate in the delivery of technical engineering, commissioning, and execution of critical data center infrastructure (power, cooling, firefighting, structured cabling, hardware relocation, etc.), either as Project Manager (PM) or as M&E field engineer. Additionally, you may participate in consulting, assessment, and certification projects for our clients’ data processing centers, and collaborate in pre-sales, sales, and business development activities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of highly experienced and trained professionals, through which we offer our clients an end-to-end view of the data center—enabling you to develop a holistic and enriching perspective of our industry. Simultaneously, we offer a development program focused on functional mentoring and career planning to support your professional growth and enable you to lead projects autonomously in the short-to-medium term. **Who You Are** **Mandatory:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering. - 3–5 years of experience in engineering firms performing tasks related to electromechanical installation design, construction supervision and management, and control of electromechanical installation execution. - Willingness and ability to travel. - Position based in Madrid. **Preferred:** - Experience and knowledge of IT infrastructure equipment (racks, structured cabling, PDUs, etc.). - Knowledge and use of engineering tools: calculation, design, drafting, BIM, etc. - Experience in critical infrastructure and/or data center projects. - Experience in data center commissioning (five levels). - Experience in DCiM tool implementation projects. - Familiarity with international data center availability standards. - Professional data center certifications: * ATD: Accredited Tier Designer from Uptime Institute * ATS: Accredited Tier Specialist from Uptime Institute * AOS: Accredited Operations Specialist from Uptime Institute * DC Professional from DatacenterDynamics * LEED Certification * Other data center certifications related to data cabling or infrastructure * Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI - Advanced English and Spanish proficiency. **Being You** The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
