Ensure a clean architecture, proper error handling, and data validation **Description:** ---------------- At LAUDE, we are looking to onboard a Backend Python Engineer for a 3-month freelance collaboration aimed at evolving and optimizing a modern API-based backend platform. **What You’ll Do:** Maintain and improve a backend service developed with FastAPI Develop new features and optimize existing endpoints Ensure a clean architecture, robust error handling, and data validation Work with relational databases, managing queries, transactions, and integrity Analyze requirements and propose efficient technical solutions on existing code **Main Requirements** * Python: Solid experience with type hints and asynchronous programming (async/await) * FastAPI: Advanced knowledge of routing, dependency injection, and exception handling * Pydantic (v2\): Proficiency in data models, validation, and serialization * ORMs (SQLModel / SQLAlchemy): Practical experience with queries, session management, bulk operations, and error control * Relational databases: Experience with PostgreSQL (or others), including transactions and constraints * Version control: Fluency in Git workflows (preferably GitLab) **Requirements:** --------------- **Conditions** Collaboration Type: Freelance Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension) Start Date: Immediate or short-term Work Mode: 100% remote LAUDE strongly advocates equal treatment and equal opportunities for all individuals in employment and occupation.
