Collaboration with high-performing multidisciplinary teams. **About the Role:** You will join a high-performing team, delivering legal advice to the company’s business areas—particularly on data protection—and participating in the review, advisory, and assessment of technology projects in accordance with the Privacy by Design principle, the Artificial Intelligence Regulation, and handling administrative and judicial proceedings before competent authorities. **Responsibilities** * Provide legal support for drafting, negotiating, finalizing, and executing contracts entered into by Vodafone, especially commercial contracts related to technology projects, suppliers, and telecommunications services—both nationally and internationally—with particular emphasis on data protection advice. * Review and negotiate data protection contracts (data processing agreements, privacy policies and cookies, privacy supplements for B2B/B2C technology products and services). * Deliver regular legal advice on the company’s day-to-day telecommunications activities, especially regarding data protection and artificial intelligence. This includes drafting legal reports and memoranda. * Lead and manage sanctioning proceedings initiated by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at administrative and/or judicial levels. * Coordinate and review projects—including conducting Privacy Impact Assessments in line with the Privacy by Design principle—and define requirements for compliance with the GDPR and other applicable regulations, preparing all necessary documentation. * Implement data protection and artificial intelligence compliance policies across Vodafone Group companies. * Develop and deliver data protection training to all company departments identified as high-risk from a privacy perspective. * Identify negotiation scenarios and alternative approaches. The role requires strong work capacity, solid technical-legal expertise, autonomy, motivation, flexibility, and active participation in projects involving collaboration with multidisciplinary teams—including Cybersecurity, Corporate Security, Artificial Intelligence Committee, Human Resources, Technology, Supplier Management, Marketing, Commercial, etc.—to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above. **What We Require?** * Law degree (a dual degree in Law and Business Administration is desirable). * Practicing lawyer / Master’s degree qualifying for the legal profession. * A specialized Master’s degree in data protection, telecommunications, or corporate legal advisory is highly valued. * 5–7 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. * Advanced English proficiency (C1 level), particularly in legal English. * Advanced computer skills (Office suite, legal databases, etc.). * Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented; capable of handling large volumes of tasks efficiently; committed and possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Results-oriented, team player, analytical and adaptable; skilled in organization and time management; proficient in drafting and preparing all types of legal documents; experienced in case law research and analysis. **What We Offer?** Flexible work: 60% remote and 40% office-based—with flexible hours! 20 additional remote workdays: Work from anywhere in Spain. ️ 25 vacation days: Plus December 24 and 31 off, and the option to purchase up to 10 additional days. ️ Restaurant vouchers: Additional to fixed compensation and part of our flexible remuneration plan.
