Job Summary:
We are seeking Home Care Assistants in Ibiza to meet the needs of dependent individuals, promoting their autonomy and well-being at home.

A cooperative in Ibiza requires the selection of **Home Care Assistants** to attend to the needs of dependent individuals in their homes.
**Required qualifications:** one of the following:
* *Intermediate Vocational Training:*
* Technician in Socio-Healthcare.
* Technician in Care for Dependent Individuals.
* Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician.
* *Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Individuals at Home.*
Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.
Additional training in geriatrics is desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
* Performing and/or assisting with the user’s personal hygiene, promoting the individual’s autonomy as well as habits of hygiene and order.
* Providing personal assistance to the user regarding dressing, feeding, and other basic daily living activities, always aiming for the highest possible level of autonomy.
* Encouraging and assisting with the user’s mobility and movement within the home.
* Supervising and assisting with medication administration, observing and adhering to each user’s medical prescription.
* Collecting medications from the pharmacy when the user has no family members available to do so.
* Scheduling medical appointments by phone when the user is unable to do so and no family member is available to assist.
* Accompanying moderately dependent users to medical visits.
* Carrying out preventive activities to avoid skin injuries and/or falls.
