**About the position:** ---------------------- As a Cyber Defence Specialist, your mission will be to protect Vodafone's infrastructure, information, and customers against cyber threats, leading and coordinating the response to security incidents. You will be a key member of the Cyber Defence team, responsible for identifying, containing, eradicating, and recovering from cybersecurity incidents, minimizing their business impact and ensuring continuous improvement of cyber resilience. Additionally, you will join a global, multinational team of Cybersecurity specialists passionate about building a connected and secure future for customers and society. As a Cyber Defence Specialist, you will lead the following key responsibilities: * Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents, ensuring effective and timely response. * Perform incident classification, analysis, investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities. * Coordinate technical response actions across Security, Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, and Applications teams. * Conduct forensic analysis and evidence collection to support investigations and root cause analysis. * Analyze security alerts, indicators of compromise (IoCs), and threat intelligence to determine incident scope and impact. * Lead technical investigations during major security incidents and cyber-crisis situations. * Develop, maintain, and improve incident response procedures, playbooks, and runbooks. * Coordinate post-incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are identified and implemented. * Support threat hunting activities and proactively detect emerging threats. * Ensure proper documentation of incidents, actions taken, and remediation plans. * Collaborate with Cyber Detect, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and Red Team functions to strengthen security capabilities. * Participate in cybersecurity exercises, simulations, and tabletop scenarios to validate organizational incident preparedness. * Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements related to cybersecurity incident management. **What do we need?** --------------------- * Certifications in Incident Response, Digital Forensics, or Cybersecurity (GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, CEH or equivalents) will be valued. * Certifications in security technologies (EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Cloud Security, etc.) will be valued. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical diagnostic skills. * More than 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, including incident response and security operations. * Solid knowledge of attack techniques, threat actors, the Cyber Kill Chain, and the MITRE ATT\&CK framework. * Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR, forensic analysis, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. * Extensive knowledge of networking, operating systems, cloud technologies, and security controls. * Experience in the telecommunications sector will be valued. * Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents and deliver results within established timelines. * Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills. * Strong oral and written communication skills, including preparation of technical reports and executive summaries. * Flexibility, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Excellent level of English, both spoken and written. **What do we offer?** ---------------------- Flexible work: 60% remote and 40% office-based, with flexible hours! 20 additional remote work days: Work from anywhere in Spain. ️ 25 vacation days: Additionally, enjoy December 24th and 31st as holidays, and you may purchase up to 10 extra days. ️ Restaurant vouchers: Additional to fixed compensation and our flexible remuneration plan.
