The team you will join: Repsol is seeking an *Application Layer SOX/SCIIF Controls Coordinator* within the IT/DIGITAL function, who will be part of the multidisciplinary Products and Platforms team, working to ensure regulatory and compliance adherence to the most stringent standards (SOX, SCIIF, and others) across all assets managed by the global Products and Platforms area. Your role will be critical in implementing the necessary measures to comply with *audit* and *compliance* controls. You will actively participate in designing, planning, and deploying strategic regulatory control implementation projects for SOX and SCIIF in collaboration with various teams across the IT Services, Digital, and Cybersecurity Directorates. You must be proactive, possess a solid technical foundation and functional experience, capable of coordinating with other product/platform teams on control-related measures, skilled in stakeholder management, business-oriented, analytically minded, and pragmatic when solving problems. Main Responsibilities: You will operate in a dynamic, collaborative, and continuously improving environment, participating in IT projects with regulatory impact—enabling you to become familiar with most of the IT areas and technologies used across our company. A summary of the key responsibilities we expect you to undertake includes:* Applying, adapting, and automating regulatory controls to ensure compliance with SOX and SCIIF frameworks at the Application Layer. Acting as the Focal Point for SOX and SCIIF controls with IT/Digital function areas (Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, External Audit, Architecture, and technical teams). * Driving AI adoption to mitigate risks arising from control non-compliance and facilitate evidence delivery. * Direct interaction with Business Owners of affected Products (*Product Owners*) and with various IT/Digital teams involved in any SOX/SCIIF-related requests or demands. * Ensuring that appropriate controls are established for new SOX/SCIIF products to meet regulatory requirements—both during collaboration phases and during transition-to-operations and mature operations phases (designing and implementing a mandatory SOX Assessment process). * Defining, designing, and implementing automation to guarantee documentation, log recording, controls, evidence collection, data completeness of assets, etc., required for SOX/SCIIF regulatory compliance. Leading and executing Application Layer change management for each periodic audit execution process.
