Description

Job Summary: Design and organize activities for older adults, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being, and encouraging socialization and healthy habits. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and planning of recreational and educational activities. 2. Promotion of socialization and healthy habits among residents. 3. Coordination with professionals to provide comprehensive care.  **Design and planning of activities**: * Create and organize recreational, cultural, leisure, and educational activities that stimulate older adults, helping maintain their physical, emotional, and social well-being. * Adapt activities to residents’ abilities and needs.  **Promotion of socialization**: * Encourage interaction among residents to prevent social isolation. * Organize group dynamics and events that foster relationships among them, such as games, discussions, workshops, etc.  **Coordination with other professionals**: * Collaborate with the medical team, nursing staff, and other residence professionals to deliver integrated care. * Participate in developing individualized care plans for each resident.  **Promotion of healthy habits**: * Organize activities promoting an active lifestyle, such as gentle physical exercises, outdoor walks, yoga, etc. * Encourage healthy eating habits and participation in activities related to hygiene and self-care.  **Development of intergenerational projects**: * Plan activities enabling older adults to interact with other generations, such as school visits or youth volunteer programs, helping improve their self-esteem and perception of their societal role.  **Animation for celebrations and special events**: * Organize parties, birthday celebrations, festivals, or any other event fostering joy and resident participation.  **Observation and follow-up**: * Observe residents’ physical and emotional condition, reporting any significant changes to the medical or care team. * Monitor residents’ participation in activities to ensure they benefit from them.
