CEU San Pablo University is seeking an Associate Professor of Programming II to join the Department of Information Technologies starting in the second semester beginning in February. Course to be taught: * Programming II (Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Engineering) * *Classes will be held on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.* Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Telecommunications, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields. * A doctoral degree is highly valued. Professional and Teaching Experience: * Professional experience in the subject area to be taught is required. * Teaching and research experience is desirable, including publications in areas related to the subject matter and participation in research groups. Languages: * C1 level of English is desirable. Competencies and Skills: * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Ability to make an impact and motivate students. * Pedagogical skills (use of a wide range of teaching and digital resources, application of diverse teaching methodologies). * High emotional intelligence: self-motivation, empathy, and influence. * Commitment and involvement.
