As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work closely with chefs and department supervisors, supporting daily kitchen tasks. You will primarily be responsible for cleaning, washing, organizing, and performing minor basic food preparations, contributing to the smooth operation of kitchen activities and compliance with hygiene and quality standards. What Will You Do? * Wash utensils, tableware, machinery, and kitchen areas. * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-arranged kitchen at all times. * Assist in basic food preparations (washing, simple cutting, ingredient preparation). * Prepare and store ingredients following the kitchen team’s instructions. * Collaborate in basic mise en place for various service periods. * Monitor proper use of cleaning products and assigned equipment. * Apply and comply with food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP). * Support the kitchen team during peak workload periods. * Use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment correctly. * Collaborate in proper waste management according to established procedures. What Are We Looking For? * Minimum 6 months’ experience in similar roles, preferably in a hotel of comparable size and complexity. * High school diploma or vocational training in hospitality/F\&B/culinary arts. * Proficiency in the local language is mandatory; knowledge of English is highly desirable. * Ability to work under pressure. * Organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Attention to detail. * Flexibility and reliability.
