The selected candidate will perform catenary design activities for international electrification projects and/or adaptation of catenary technologies. OLE & Simulation is part of the **Rail Systems** department, a multidisciplinary team of over 50 professionals. Our office has a strong track record of successful OLE & Simulation projects over many years, serving clients in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, and other countries. Here, you will have the opportunity to work on some of AECOM’s most iconic transportation projects as part of a diverse, multicultural team within the EC Europe Center (Spain/Poland). We are an experienced and ambitious team that values diverse technical capabilities and encourages colleagues to engage across disciplines to achieve excellence. Key responsibilities include: * Preparation of design reports, drawings, layouts, structural designs, load cases, etc. * Management of deliverables and development of associated project documentation. * Review and approval of technical documents. * Development of technical specifications and tender documents. * Communication and coordination with other technical disciplines. * Gathering of technical requirements. * Participation in interdisciplinary reviews. * Team management under direct supervision. * Development of mechanical calculation guidelines. * Quality Control management. * Production of basic design elements. * Collaboration with the Proposals department and other internal teams focused on rail and other sectors (linear works, structures, etc.). **Qualifications** **Qualifications**: * **Minimum of 5 years of experience** in catenary projects (new electrification and renewals) and understanding of the railway industry. * Proficiency in **CAD tools – MicroStation / AutoCAD**. * Knowledge of structural analysis software and BIM environment is desirable. * Our playing field is global, so **fluent English** is essential. Additional language skills are highly valued. * We are looking for **proactive individuals** with a **collaborative spirit** who are motivated by **new challenges**.
