Opportunities for professional growth and continuous training. **What will be your mission?** *You will work in Grupo Uvesco’s Logistics Department, enabling you to become a key part of the supply chain. Reporting to the Logistics Department Director, you will be responsible for leading logistics functions in the Central Zone, defining the necessary strategies and resources to support the company’s expansion, and planning and managing logistics and transportation operations to achieve business objectives. Together with your team and in coordination with external operators, you will ensure that BM supermarkets in the Central Zone (Madrid and Ávila) receive their products daily and on time—a critical factor in maintaining customer satisfaction and enhancing their shopping experience. All this will be accomplished as efficiently and sustainably as possible, contributing to the well-being of our environment.* **Your responsibilities will include:** * Managing the Logistics Platform, defining strategies to achieve objectives and planning activities. * Being accountable for the profit-and-loss statement. * Defining transportation requirements. * Participating in projects aimed at optimizing, improving, and developing logistics activities. * Defining and monitoring KPIs. * Handling supplier negotiation and management for logistics services. **What are we looking for?** We seek a professional with: * A university degree in Engineering or Business Administration (LADE), with postgraduate specialization in logistics being especially valued. * Additional university-level training in occupational risk prevention is desirable; Lean methodology experience is also valued. * Extensive experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). * Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. * Minimum three years’ experience in distribution platform management and transportation management. Experience in designing and launching distribution warehouses, as well as in logistics integration processes, is highly valued. * Strong planning and organizational skills. * An analytical, proactive, solution-oriented, and autonomous individual. * Outstanding leadership capabilities, social skills, and communication and negotiation abilities. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Central Zone. **What do we offer?** * Immediate integration into Grupo UVESCO’s Commercial Department. * Permanent contract. * Work location: Arroyomolinos (Madrid).
