Based at our Alcobendas office, the selected candidate will join the Procurement Department. Your **main responsibilities** will include: * Identifying suppliers and conducting market research for supplies and subcontracting based on technical specifications and project requirements. * Liaising with suppliers and demonstrating strong negotiation skills (optimizing prices, delivery times, payment terms, Incoterms, etc.) * Issuing RFQs, analyzing offers, and preparing comparative tables. * Purchasing strategy, order tracking, activation, and planning. * Coordinating with different departments within the company (Logistics, Operations, and Engineering). * Drafting special conditions, service and/or supply contracts, and frame-agreements. * Preparing supplier follow-up reports and KPIs. * Drafting special conditions, service and/or supply contracts, or frame-agreements. * Preparing supplier follow-up reports and KPIs. **You will succeed if:** * You hold a university degree in Technical Engineering (Industrial, Electrical or Electronics) or similar. * You have experience managing ERP systems such as Business Central or Navision. Proficient in Office environment. * You have at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a Purchasing Department, both nationally and internationally (preferably in the railway signaling sector). * You are available to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally. * You are fluent in written and spoken English (C1 level). **What will the process be like?** We will start with a phone call to get to know you and explain the role and the company.
