**Description:** ---------------- Infortec is seeking a **Virtual Network and Security Engineer** with at least 6 years of experience in network virtualization and information security technologies. If you are a technology-passionate professional with experience implementing and managing complex infrastructures and wish to join a dynamic team, this is your opportunity! **Responsibilities:** * Management and administration of virtual networks using **NSX** and **VMware** platforms. * Implementation and optimization of security solutions, including firewalls, application control, URL filtering, and IPS. * Design and maintenance of enterprise load balancing solutions. * Advanced network (**R\&S**) management: configuration, maintenance, and optimization of dynamic routing and switching. * Automation of operational processes and routine tasks to improve team efficiency. * Proof-of-Concept (**PoC**) testing of new technologies and solutions. * Development of technical documentation for infrastructure implementation and maintenance. * Collaboration with other IT teams and management of technical projects in complex environments. **Requirements:** * **Minimum 6+ years’ experience with NSX, VMware, firewalls, Load Balancing, and R\&S.** * Knowledge of virtualized infrastructure management and perimeter security solutions. * Experience working with technical teams and leading projects in complex IT environments. * Technical certifications related to networking and security (preferably VMware VCP, CCNP, CCIE). * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Proactivity and ability to efficiently manage change and resolve incidents. **Desirable Competencies:** * **Leadership and project management skills.** * Experience in automation of operational processes. * Additional certifications in networking technologies, such as Fortinet, Juniper, or Check Point. * Technical English (desirable but not mandatory) **Employment Conditions** * Indefinite-term contract with a stable and growing company. * 100% Remote Work Mode * Access to our IBenefits Club (exclusive discounts across multiple brands). * Flexible compensation plan: health insurance, meal vouchers, among others. * Salary to be determined If you are interested, apply now!
