We seek to incorporate **Senior FPGA Engineers for Electronic Teams** into the **Electromechanical Systems Division (SEM)**. The SEM Division is a reference supplier of **electromechanical and control systems** for the world’s leading space agencies (NASA, ESA, JAXA, Roscosmos), having participated for decades in high-criticality space and defense programs. This position targets candidates with a **solid technical background in FPGAs**, who wish to remain actively involved in design, development, and validation, and who can serve as **technical references within the team**, collaborating with other engineers and contributing expertise to complex projects. **Your Responsibilities:** You will be part of a **multidisciplinary team** (hardware, software, and mechanical) developing equipment used to test and validate control electronics and mechanisms for space and defense systems — such as antenna pointing systems, robotic coupling and anchoring systems, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. On a day-to-day basis, you will actively participate in technical development and may also contribute to technical coordination of activities within the project. * Define requirements for the detailed FPGA specification * Define the FPGA architecture * Code following design rules and standards * Verification via simulations and testbenches * Validation through hardware testing * Code coverage checks * Synthesis, implementation, and bitstream generation * Place & route implementation * Automation of processes using scripts * Preparation of associated documentation * Participation in technical reviews with the customer Specifically, your responsibilities will include: * Define requirements for the detailed FPGA specification * Define the FPGA architecture * Code using design rules * Verify via simulations using testbenches * Validate through hardware testing * Perform code coverage checks * Perform synthesis, implementation, and bitstream generation * Implement place and route * Automate prior processes using scripts * Prepare associated documentation * Attend reviews with the customer **What We Expect From You:** * Degree in Electronic, Industrial or Telecommunications Engineering. * High level of English proficiency. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in the position offered. * Experience with hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog).
