We seek a candidate who not only understands **Data Mesh**, but has also faced its challenges in practice: from defining data contracts to negotiating with domain teams, and building the self-serve infrastructure that empowers them. If you are someone who enjoys both designing an architecture and debating with business stakeholders about dataset ownership, this opportunity is for you. **Requirements:** --------------- * 3–5 years of experience in data engineering. * Proven experience working in environments applying Data Mesh principles or decentralized data architectures. * Solid understanding of the 4 Data Mesh principles and ability to apply them in daily technical decisions. * Proficiency in AWS Data Services: S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Redshift, Step Functions. * Experience with pipeline orchestrators (Airflow, AWS MWAA or similar). * Advanced SQL and Python skills. * Experience with modern columnar formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, or Apache Iceberg. * DataOps culture: Git, CI/CD applied to data, testing, and automation.
