




Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive Data Engineer to design and build pipelines, create datasets, and implement automations on Google Cloud, collaborating with the D&A team. Key Highlights: 1. Design and construction of pipelines and automations on Google Cloud. 2. Proactive and analytical collaboration to identify functional requirements. 3. Maintenance and evolution of processes for performance improvements. **The candidate will work as a Data Engineer, focusing on pipeline design and construction, dataset creation, and automation generation on Google Cloud, as part of the D\&A team; the main responsibilities will be:** * **Proactively and collaboratively engage with the team to analyze functional requirements of projects.** * **Document requirements through analysis of documentation, requirement-gathering sessions with other departments, analysis of data flow process maps, and analysis of business tasks.** * **Document and define the testing strategy, and critically evaluate the information obtained.** * **Leverage experience to define requirements and manage systems using appropriate methodologies.** * **Maintain and evolve existing processes by identifying performance improvements or cost-saving opportunities.** Minimum Requirements: * **Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field: Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.** * **Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages and Google Cloud Platform tools.** * **Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role, including building and maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting, data transformation and ingestion, designing and implementing complex data models, and enabling optimizations to improve performance.** * **Intermediate level of English.** * **Ability to work effectively in a team.** Desired Qualifications: * **Cloud certification is considered a strong advantage.** * **Experience with Agile methodologies.** * **Familiarity with Jira, Aha!, and Git tools.** * **Motivational mindset, ability to present complex technical solutions to all levels (executive, managerial, clients, or third parties).** * **Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, and planning capabilities.** * **Quick learner, capable of solving new problems in a versatile and confident manner.
