




Job Summary: We are seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and implement supervision systems, program PLCs and SCADAs, coordinate projects, and optimize operations. Key Highlights: 1. Position offering high autonomy and technical development **POSITION AND DEPARTMENT** * Engineering and Technical Office Department. * Automation Engineer * No team management responsibilities. **FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Development of supervision systems (SCADA) for new projects. * Implementation of improvements for existing facilities. * Execution of basic and detailed engineering at the instrumentation level. * Programming of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs. * Interpretation of mechanical P\&ID process diagrams. * Interpretation of electrical schematics. * Coordination of work with suppliers and clients. * Commissioning activities. * Provision of information for technical project management and support for technical-economic estimation to assess project feasibility. * Technical visits and support during Construction, Commissioning, and especially Operational Optimization. * Responsibility for quality assurance of assigned projects. * Registration and maintenance of related and generated documentation. **WHAT WE OFFER** * Positive working environment. * Employment type: Permanent contract, with a 6-month probationary period. * Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week. * Schedule: Monday to Thursday, flexible start time between 7:30 and 9:00, 8.5 hours of effective work. Kristal. 28703 San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid. **CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS** * Education: Minimum qualification: Vocational Training in Automation; a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic, Automatic or Industrial Engineering—or equivalent—is highly valued. * Required knowledge: PLC and SCADA programming—including communications (Ignition SCADA preferred), SIEMENS PLCs (TIA PORTAL), and PEM of equipment and instrumentation. Instrumentation and Control, preparation of technical documentation, definition and interpretation of drawings, diagrams and schematics. Official "CORE CERTIFIED (Ignition)" certification, IQVISION and TREND (HONEYWELL) programming, Standard CODEYS programming. * Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in responsibilities matching this position. * Languages: English proficiency at minimum B2 level is desirable. * Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
