Integration Architect

### **Description** At Izertis, we are looking for an Integration Architect to join a project with an important banking sector client, leading the design, evolution, and governance of enterprise integration architecture, ensuring system interoperability, security, and scalability. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining technical guidelines, standards, and best practices around API management, microservices, and event-driven architectures. **Main Responsibilities** * Design and maintain integration architecture based on API Management, SOA, microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles. * Define standards and policies for the design, exposure, consumption, and versioning of REST/SOAP APIs and messaging mechanisms. * Implement and oversee the integration governance strategy, including security, traceability, monitoring, and access control. * Lead the adoption and evolution of integration platforms such as MuleSoft and Kafka, ensuring best practices and architectural consistency. * Coordinate hybrid integration (cloud and on-premise) using containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes). * Ensure observability of the integration ecosystem through distributed tracing, centralized logging, and operational metrics. * Collaborate with domain architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure technical alignment and compliance with standards. * Provide technical leadership and support to development teams in implementing integration solutions. **Minimum Requirements** * Experience in designing integration architectures: API Management, EDA, SOA, microservices. * Solid knowledge of MuleSoft and Kafka. * Experience in defining standards: REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, versioning, security policies, and governance. * Experience with cloud and container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, hybrid and on-premise integration. * Knowledge of monitoring and observability: distributed tracing, centralized logging, operational metrics. **Desirable Requirements** * Previous experience in integration architectures within the banking or financial sector. * Familiarity with API governance platforms (Apigee, Kong, Axway, among others). * Technical leadership skills and ability to support teams in digital transformation projects. * Strategic mindset, analytical capability, and enterprise architecture vision. * Effective communication and results orientation. **What We Offer** * Participation in strategic technological transformation projects. * A collaborative environment with high technical impact. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning in integration technologies. * 100% remote work * Permanent contract WHO ARE WE?
