Job Summary: At VERTI, we are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the end-to-end design and implementation of analytical solutions based on ML and AI, with a Data Product focus and multidisciplinary collaboration. At VERTI, we seek a Senior Data Scientist with extensive experience in the elicitation, design, and end-to-end implementation of analytical solutions based on ML \& AI. With a Data Product orientation, strong ability to engage with business areas and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. LOCATION.\- MADRID \- CL. MARIA TUBAU, 10 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY FUNCTIONS) Understanding business needs and proposing ML \& AI-based analytical solutions to help achieve business objectives Designing analytical solutions, considering technical feasibility and business impact in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Performing descriptive analyses, data transformation pipelines, and training the most appropriate ML or DL models for each use case Presenting findings and results to business stakeholders in non-technical language Operationalizing solutions, supported by MLOps teams Monitoring business impact as well as technical metrics, and proposing improvements Documenting use cases and decisions made Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement projects Participating in defining departmental methodologies and best practices EDUCATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering A Master’s degree in Data Science is desirable Solid knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred) In-depth knowledge of advanced ML \& DL techniques, both supervised and unsupervised Knowledge of GenAI solutions PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, training, deploying, and measuring ML \& DL projects Minimum 2 years of experience implementing GenAI solutions Minimum 2 years of experience implementing NLP solutions
