




**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Laboratory Technician for an important public administration project in Madrid. **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Responsibilities and Tasks** ---------------------- * Support laboratory management activities, including procurement of consumables, preparation of expenditure proposals, and inventory control of laboratory materials. * Receipt and inspection of material orders received. Verify correspondence between requested and delivered items upon receipt. * Preparation of sampling kits and shipment to various stations. * Receipt, registration, aliquoting, storage, and distribution of samples to different laboratory units. Identify potential anomalies and document and notify them to enable process improvements. * Scanning and archiving of documentation accompanying samples. * Conducting gravimetric assays: verification of balances; weighing of blank and sampled filters. * Sample preparation prior to chemical analysis. * Preparation of standards and solutions. * Support in chemical analysis of samples according to various methodologies (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, ICP-MS, pH, conductivity, ICP-OES, ion chromatography, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and CVAFS). * Performing, recording, and documenting established equipment verification, maintenance, and calibration procedures. * Carrying out assigned laboratory quality management system activities according to role responsibilities and completing corresponding records. * Transferring analytical results into Excel result tables. * Supporting calibration and verification activities of automatic analyzers before and after technical supervision of stations. * Supporting supervision of EMPE/VAC/CAMP network stations. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements must be substantiated by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the process): * Official academic qualification or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract verifying required professional experience. * Internship annexes verifying required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Spanish official FP II (Intermediate Vocational Training) or Higher Vocational Training (Grado Superior) qualification in the professional families of Health, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agriculture, and/or Maritime-Fisheries (qualification officially recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities). ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Availability to undertake up to 8 domestic trips, each lasting at least 4 days (candidate must drive the vehicle). * Valid Class B driving license. * Eligibility to formalize a training contract for acquiring professional practice linked to the qualification required in this vacancy (for this purpose, no more than 3 years may have elapsed since completion of the qualification, or 5 years if a disability certificate is provided; and no prior training contract linked to the same qualification exceeding six months may have been executed). **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Languages** * English Level: B1 ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Professional and/or academic experience in sample receipt and computerized registration. * Professional and/or academic experience in implementing laboratory quality management system activities. * Professional and/or academic experience in conducting gravimetric assays. * Professional and/or academic experience in supporting chemical analysis of samples according to various methodologies (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, ICP-MS, pH, conductivity, ICP-OES, ion chromatography, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and CVAFS). **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable by another 6 months, if applicable. In case of a training/practice contract, the candidate’s qualification must be relevant to the position duties, and the candidate must perform tasks appropriate to the qualification, enabling acquisition of professional practice commensurate with their academic level. + Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
