We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist – SOC \& Security Services, whose main responsibilities will include: Acting as the technical subject-matter expert for the Global CISO’s team to coordinate and continuously optimize Exolum’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and core cybersecurity services, including SIEM, XDR/XSIAM, vulnerability management, and network security monitoring. Providing hands-on cybersecurity technical support to the Global CISO’s team, translating operational security knowledge into practical priorities, improvement actions, and vendor performance tracking. Maintaining up-to-date, practical knowledge of threats relevant to Exolum—including threat actors, campaigns, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)—and using this intelligence to support tuning of detection use cases, SOC priorities, and vulnerability remediation approaches. Applying strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto security technologies (Cortex XDR, XSIAM, NGFW/Panorama), SIEM/XDR operations, and network security monitoring—advising on configuration, optimization, and operational best practices. Coordinating external resources (FTEs), contractors, and managed security service providers delivering SOC and cybersecurity services—ensuring clear priorities, effective task handover, service quality, and adherence to agreed SLAs/KPIs. Leading defined technical workstreams and moderate-complexity service improvement initiatives—elevating strategic, high-impact, or enterprise-wide decisions to the Global CISO or the appropriate governance forum when required. Profile we seek University degree or equivalent in a technology-, networking-, or cybersecurity-related field High level of English (demonstrable) Solid experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, SIEM/XDR, network security monitoring, and vulnerability management. Between 4 and 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within critical infrastructure, energy, logistics, transportation, industrial environments, or highly regulated sectors. Practical experience operating and optimizing SIEM and XDR/XSIAM platforms. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Palo Alto security technologies (Cortex XDR, XSIAM, and NGFW/Panorama). **Strong knowledge of network architecture and security:** segmentation, firewalls, VPN/remote access, and IDS/IPS. Experience using threat intelligence to improve detection, SOC prioritization, and vulnerability management. **Experience managing the full vulnerability lifecycle:** identification, assessment, prioritization, remediation, and tracking. Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or external teams and overseeing SLA/KPI compliance. Knowledge of detection engineering, correlation rules, and use case development in SIEM environments. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to technical detail. Ability to produce technical reports, service metrics, and risk reports.
