ACCIONA, within its Water business, is seeking a Head of Digitalization/Technology and Circularity for its technological initiatives department in Madrid. Job Description Main Responsibilities:* If you are passionate and motivated by making a positive impact in a sector such as water (a vital resource for life), working on high-tech and positively impactful projects driven by our operational efficiency goals, placing our customers at the center, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, then you may perform the following functions: * Management of high-technology, digitalization, and sustainability-focused projects for the water sector. Promote integration among internal teams as well as the entire supply chain. * Development of digital initiatives from ideation through execution and deployment into production. * Development and implementation of digital product strategies, from prototype phase to industrialization and future commercialization plans. * Business development with a focus on new industrial clients; possessing sufficient technical knowledge to present Industry 4.0 technology-based solutions focused on sustainability and operational efficiency in the water sector. * Monitoring project objectives and reporting to corporate departments. * Working in an organized manner within ecosystems (suppliers-partners-customers) to co-develop digital initiatives with multidisciplinary teams. * Delivering internal client presentations and participating in international technology and ESG forums. * Preparation and subsequent execution of commercial proposals with digital and technological components. * High motivation, commitment, and availability to manage projects worldwide. * Enthusiasm and strong willingness to learn, enabling you to work like a startup within a large company where new technologies and sustainability are integral to strategy. Candidate Requirements Main Requirements:* University degree or master’s degree. Specialty: STEM. * At least 5 years of experience in Technology, Engineering, or Environmental fields (preferably related to the water sector). * Required languages: Spanish and English. * Additional training: MBA, Master’s in Sustainability/ESG, Industry 4.0. * Expertise and proficiency in emerging technologies such as AI. * Expertise in strategic projects.
