Position Summary: We are seeking a Forestry Engineer to manage and cleanse hunting estate data, migrate cartographic databases, and conduct field verifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Management and cleansing of hunting estate databases. 2. Proposal for migration of the cadastral cartographic database to SIGPAC. 3. Conducting field verifications and preparing reports. **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Forestry Engineer in Leganés. **Workplace** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Verify hunting estate databases and associated information, and cleanse the contained data, adapting it to the requirements of new regulations and IT tools. * Propose migration of the cadastral cartographic database to SIGPAC, aiming to facilitate and coordinate hunting estate management with potential European Union-funded aid programs. * Conduct necessary field verifications arising from desk-based work. This includes traveling to designated locations and preparing reports covering any characteristics of the hunting estates. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through evaluation tests and/or by attaching the required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process documents verifying the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to validate the requirements and/or merits detailed in this job posting. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a Forestry Engineering degree (Level 3 MECES) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Class B driving license **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Additional Meritorious Factors** * Proficiency in office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. * Proficiency in GIS cartographic tools (AutoCAD, ArcGIS) * Experience in managing hunting and fish farming activities * Proficiency in database management **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 9 months, linked to the execution of the assignment detailed in the publication under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or funded by European Union funds. + Full-time working hours.
