We are currently seeking a **Senior Data Scientist specialized in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)** to join a strategic energy sector project, working in a hybrid model and based in **Madrid or Barcelona**. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Design and develop advanced Generative AI solutions focused on complex business challenges. * Build virtual assistants, enterprise copilots, and autonomous agents based on Large Language Models (LLMs). * Design RAG (Retrieval\-Augmented Generation) architectures using semantic search engines and knowledge bases. * Implement advanced Prompt Engineering strategies, along with evaluation and optimization of generative models. * Develop and validate Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for advanced use cases. * Define metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure quality, relevance, accuracy, and safety of generated responses. * Lead proof\-of\-concept (PoC) initiatives and deploy solutions into production using best practices in MLOps and LLMOps. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across data, architecture, and development to drive GenAI adoption. **Job Description \- Grade Specific** ------------------------------------- **Required Qualifications** ------------------------- * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related disciplines. * More than 5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence. * More than 2 years of experience working with Generative AI technologies. * Demonstrable experience with: + LLMs + RAG + Prompt Engineering + Embeddings + Fine\-tuning + LLM Evaluation + Multi\-agent systems * Experience developing solutions from exploration through to production. * Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow). * Experience with Git, REST APIs, and agile methodologies. * Experience working in AWS environments. * English proficiency at B2 level or higher. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------- * Experience leading Generative AI initiatives in enterprise settings. * Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and production model monitoring. * Experience with vector databases and semantic engines. * Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks. * Participation in digital transformation and innovation projects. * Cloud or Artificial Intelligence certifications. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Permanent contract with Capgemini Engineering. * Involvement in strategic projects related to Generative AI and digital transformation. * An international, innovative, and collaborative environment. * Continuous training, certifications, and a structured career path. * Real professional growth opportunities. * Hybrid work model. * Location in Madrid or Barcelona. **About Capgemini** ------------------- Capgemini is a global leader in transforming and managing businesses by harnessing the full power of technology.
