About the role At Sika, we are seeking a Maintenance Manager for our logistics center and factory in Alcobendas, Madrid. The person joining us will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance-related activities for Sika’s facilities and equipment in Alcobendas (Fuencarral and Aragoneses). They must ensure that all systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and optimizing resources. Responsibilities: - Maintenance management oversight for the Alcobendas facilities (Fuencarral Road and Aragoneses Street). - Supervise and coordinate work with external maintenance teams. - Review and control the GMAO system (PRISMA); plan and schedule preventive maintenance. - Implement improvements to systems and facilities. - Ensure compliance with Industrial Safety regulations as well as Occupational Health and Safety standards. - Procurement management of all necessary spare parts. - Oversight of facility legalization with competent authorities. - Official calibration of factory equipment. - Collaborate with Engineering and Production departments to implement operational efficiency improvements. - Contract and supervise external service providers when required. Your skills and experience **Education:** Higher Vocational Training Certificate (FPII) or University Degree in Industrial Technical Engineering, or equivalent experience. **Professional Experience:** Over 5 years of experience in similar roles within industrial environments. **Additional Requirements:** - Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and digitalization. - Energy management expertise. - Industrial maintenance experience. - Experience with Lean / TPM methodologies. - Industrial legislation and industrial safety knowledge. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365. - Intermediate English. **Competencies:** - Work planning and organization. - Teamwork. - Orientation toward excellence and results. - Flexibility toward change and innovation. - Initiative/proactivity. - Analysis and continuous improvement. - Leadership and people development.
