Position Summary: We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a therapeutic day center serving adolescents and young adults, responsible for patient assessment, treatment, and coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct initial assessment and treatment planning. 2. Develop psychoeducation and family intervention. 3. Manage medication and coordinate with other services. Proyecto Hombre Madrid is seeking to hire a Psychiatrist for our therapeutic day center serving adolescents and young adults. Responsibilities: * Conduct initial assessment and treatment planning: clinically evaluating patients, identifying psychopathology among inpatients and external referrals from CADs, issuing therapeutic recommendations, and coordinating with CAD and Mental Health reference professionals. * Develop psychoeducation and health education: delivering individual and group psychoeducational interventions, enhancing awareness of mental illness and addiction, promoting treatment adherence, and providing education on issues associated with substance use—including STIs, hygiene and self-care, sexuality, nutrition, and sleep. * Conduct family intervention: delivering psychoeducation to families about mental disorders and addiction, improving family communication, and providing therapeutic intervention when required using narrative or structural approaches. * Manage medication and clinical documentation: prescribing and adjusting psychopharmacological treatment for mental disorders, and administering pharmacological treatment during detoxification and abstinence processes. * Coordinate with other treatment services: collaborating with CADs, dual pathology units, mental health services, educational institutions, and social services. Requirements: * Medical degree, Psychiatry MIR specialization: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. * Minimum two years’ prior experience in diagnosing and treating adolescents and young adults with dual pathology. We Offer: * Schedule: Morning shifts Monday through Friday (2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week). * Working hours: Part-time, 15 hours/week. * Gross annual remuneration: €25,101.44/year (gross). * Indefinite-term contract.
