The Hyatt family at our two hotels continues to grow, and we are seeking a Cluster Accounting Clerk to join our two 5\*-star hotels located in the heart of Madrid. What will you do on a day-to-day basis? * Represent the Hyatt Centric and Thompson brands by delivering an outstanding guest experience. * Manage and record supplier invoices. * Prepare and execute supplier payments, including manual payments, ensuring proper authorization and accurate recording. * Manage and record supplier invoices. * Verify and post supplier invoices, checking correct accounting and tax classification, as well as comparing them against purchase orders to identify and resolve potential discrepancies. * Perform supplier account and balance sheet account reconciliations, analyzing and resolving variances. * Carry out the full transfer review process in accordance with internal procedures. * Support internal and external audit processes by gathering and providing required documentation. * Provide support for Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, including general ledger accounting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and monthly financial closings. * Assist with other finance department tasks and projects as business needs arise. **Qualifications** ------------------ What would we like you to bring? * Accounting education. * Prior experience in a similar Accounts Payable and/or Record-to-Report role. * Experience with USALI accounting standards is preferred; familiarity with Spanish general accounting standards is also valued. * Previous experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable. * Experience working with procurement tools (e.g., BirchStreet or similar), electronic invoicing platforms (e.g., Voxel or similar), and accounting ERP systems (e.g., iScala, SAGE or similar) is advantageous. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English. * Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
