We are seeking a **part-time Orthopedic and Prosthetic Technician to cover a maternity leave**, who will ensure technical advice to our patients, as well as the fabrication or fitting of technical orthopedic products in our orthopedic stores or hospital centers.

**Your responsibilities at PRIM:**
* Provide technical advice to patients both in-store and at hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation clinics, etc.
* Design, fabricate, and fit, where applicable, the orthopedic devices required by patients, based on medical prescriptions—whether custom-made or standard products.
* Design orthoses, external prostheses, and assistive devices in accordance with Royal Decree 1591/2009 of October 16, ensuring patient safety and health.
* Fit orthopedic-prosthetic and assistive devices according to user needs assessments and established legal requirements.
* Train patients on the use of orthopedic devices and technical aids.
* Conduct medical promotional visits to attract and retain clients (e.g., rehabilitation specialists, traumatologists, etc.) at healthcare facilities, advising them on new orthopedic products and techniques.
* Prepare product quotations for patients or other types of clients (hospitals, mutual insurance companies, clinics, foundations, etc.).
* Provide psychological support to patients, applying appropriate communication and assistance techniques tailored to their psychosocial profiles.
* Coordinate with other departments to achieve synergies and joint actions toward shared goals.
* Propose specific improvements or changes to optimize task execution.

**Requirements**

**What you need for your application to be considered:**
* Certification as an Orthopedic and Prosthetic Technician.
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a certified Orthopedic and Prosthetic Technician; alternatively, 5 years of experience working alongside an Orthopedic and Prosthetic Technician in an orthopedic store—even without formal certification.
* Proficiency in office software at the user level.
* Interest in working part-time (30 hours per week).
