At Serunion, a collective catering company with over 30 years of experience in the sector and a market leader, we are seeking staff with experience in collective catering. We offer you the opportunity to work during the summer months as support for our colleagues in the Health\-Social division in Madrid (Fuencarral\-El Pardo area). What are we looking for? As you know, by joining our team, you will have the chance to apply your culinary knowledge in center facilities. We are currently seeking a Cook (Elderly Care). Responsibilities Prepare meals, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical specifications, and implement good practices. Develop standard and adapted menus and diets. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow. Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations – APPCC recordkeeping. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area, and oversee the use of equipment, materials, and utensils. Train new team members on kitchen practices and company procedures. ### **Requirements** Preferred education in Hospitality: Higher Technician in Restaurant Management, Technician in Cooking, or equivalent. Proven experience as a cook for at least 2 years, preferably in collective catering or similar environments. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and/or workplace hygiene standards (APPCC). Ability to work efficiently and manage one’s own time in a fast-paced work environment. Problem-solving skills and strong communication ability. Own vehicle and/or willingness to commute to the workplace. Teamwork orientation. Flexible availability regarding working hours. ### **We Offer** Temporary replacement contract covering June, July, August, September, and/or October. Rotating work schedule: Monday to Sunday, with two days off one week and five days off the next, including morning and/or evening shifts (8:00–16:00 and 18:00–21:00, or 13:00–21:00). 33-hour weekly working schedule.
