Work with SAP Ariba and other e-procurement tools What drives and inspires us at Telpark is talent. **Procurement Senior Manager** ------------------------------------------- **Location:** Spain / Iberia **Department:** Procurement **Reports to:** Head of Accounting, Administration, Internal Audit, and Procurement **Team size:** 3 direct reports (1 in Spain, 2 in Portugal) **Annual managed spend:** \~€150M ### **Job Mission** Define and lead Telpark’s procurement strategy for Iberia, ensuring spend optimization, operational efficiency, and value creation through strategic supplier management supported by digital tools such as SAP Ariba. ### **Key Responsibilities** * **Procurement Strategy Definition** + Design and implement the end-to-end procurement strategy for Spain and Portugal. + Identify savings opportunities, synergies, and economies of scale. + Drive transformation toward a more strategic, value-oriented procurement model. * **Spend Management and Cost Optimization** + Manage an annual procurement volume of approximately €150M. + Establish spend policies and controls. + Lead efficiency and cost reduction initiatives (cost savings / cost avoidance). * **Supplier Management** + Define and manage the strategic supplier panel. + Lead negotiation and contracting processes. + Establish KPIs, SLAs, and supplier performance evaluations. * **Procurement Governance and Processes** + Define, standardize, and improve procurement processes (source-to-pay). + Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. + Guarantee traceability and control over procurement operations. * **SAP Ariba Management** + Lead the usage, adoption, and evolution of SAP Ariba as the core procurement tool. + Ensure proper configuration, business user adoption, and data quality. + Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation. * **Team Leadership** + Manage and develop a three-person Iberian team. + Foster collaboration between Spain and Portugal. + Promote a high-performance, results-oriented culture. * **Cross-functional Collaboration** + Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other key departments. + Align the procurement function with business needs. + Act as an internal strategic partner. ### **Requirements** * **Education** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. + Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA or procurement specialization) is a plus. * **Experience** + 8–10 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably within multinational environments. + Proven experience managing large-scale spend volumes. + Experience implementing and using e-procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar). * **Languages** + Spanish and English (mandatory). + Portuguese (highly desirable). * **Technical Knowledge** + Strategic sourcing and category management. + Advanced negotiation and contract management. + E-procurement tools (SAP Ariba). + Financial analysis applied to procurement. ### **Key Competencies** * Strategic vision and value orientation * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Leadership of multicultural teams * Results- and efficiency-driven mindset * Analytical capability and data-driven decision making * Communication and stakeholder management skills ### **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Generated savings (cost savings / cost avoidance) * % of spend under management * Compliance with procurement processes and policies * SAP Ariba adoption rate * Supplier performance (KPIs / SLAs) * Reduction of supply chain risks If you want to join a growing company undergoing full digital and cultural transformation, now is your moment.
