Specifically, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering department. **Key Responsibilities** The candidate will be responsible for developing civil engineering projects across their various design phases (Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4\), ensuring compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and coordination with other involved disciplines. Key responsibilities include: * Developing civil engineering deliverables throughout the different design phases (Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4\). * Preparing and reviewing civil engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, calculations, and quantity take-offs. * Designing and coordinating various civil works activities, including, but not limited to: + Demolitions. + Earthworks. + Alignment and urbanization. + Pavement construction. + Signage. + Landscaping and gardening. + Design and coordination of underground utility networks, including pressurized water supply networks, gravity-fed sewerage/stormwater/contaminated water networks, MV/LV/ELV electrical networks, telecommunications, security systems, and fuel distribution networks. * Technical coordination with other project disciplines (structures, architecture, MEP installations, etc.) to ensure proper integration of designs. * Participating in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, representing the civil engineering discipline and responding to technical requirements raised. * Reviewing and complying with applicable regulations, client specifications, and internal quality standards. * Providing technical support during project execution and resolving design-related issues in coordination with the wider team. The successful candidate must hold a degree in Civil Engineering and possess over 10 years of professional experience. Required experience includes: * Ability to interpret geotechnical and topographic reports and extract relevant data from them. * Competence in calculation and design of underground networks, such as sewage and stormwater drainage systems. * Design of water supply and fire protection networks. * Design of routing for telecommunications, LV, MV, and HV conduits — including provision of routing layouts, trench sections, manholes, and chambers. * Earthworks — capable of calculating excavation and backfill volumes. * Road design. * Pavement structure design. * In-depth knowledge of public utility and structural design codes and civil engineering practices. * Familiarity with PG3, Eurocodes, AASHTO, Road Pavement Design Guidelines, etc. * Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD; Revit is an advantage.
